Human Biomonitoring: Applications in Occupational Exposure Assessment
This is a must-attend event for professionals working in occupational health, toxicology and related fields who want to deepen their understanding of biomonitoring as a tool for exposure assessment and risk management.
This ICOH webinar offers an introductory exploration into the world of occupational biomonitoring and its role in exposure assessment. Designed for professionals, researchers, and students in public health, environmental science, and occupational health, the session will first cover the foundational concepts of human biomonitoring and the underlying toxicokinetics. The second portion of the webinar will focus on the use of biomonitoring to assess occupational exposures to harmful chemicals and substances. Key aspects such as the relationship between biomonitoring and regulatory standards, interpreting biomonitoring data, and the latest trends in occupational exposure science will be explored.
When: 17th April 2025 from 4.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. CEST (please, use this link to convert date and time in your time zone).

In this webinar, we will present different aspects of what is known and research gaps. After an overview of epidemiological knowledge, early biological changes, epigenetics on wildland firefighters will be presented, as well as a focus on respiratory health and cancer.
When: 14th May 2025 from 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. CEST, live (with recording).
