About us
On 22 October 2002, in the course of a Round Table on “Organisation and Management of Health Surveillance”, held in the auditorium of the School of Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, the new scientific association of occupational health professionals, called AEPSAL, Asociación de Especialistas en Prevención y Salud Laboral, was presented to the public.
According to those responsible for AEPSAL, although this association has been set up in Catalonia, the fact is that its statutes and its programme of activities reflect AEPSAL’s aspiration and vocation to extend its organisation to the European level, in order to form a European Confederation of occupational health professionals.
The characteristics of the Association are as follows:
-An integrating vocation for all occupational health professionals.
– European vocation.
– Vocation of support and service to the associate.
– Institutional collaboration with all other occupational health associations, entities and authorities.
