Association of Safety Engineers of Ljubljana – Slovenia
Association of Safety Engineers of Ljubljana (Društvo varnostnih inženirjev Ljubljana) is a non-governmental, non-profit, professional organization, the largest and the oldest association in Slovenia in the field of safety and health at work. From 1955 we have actively participated in the development of the Slovenian OSH and took care of the continuous professional development of our members and the wider professional public.
Our association cooperates with similar organizations from around Europe. We are aware that the OSH sector is facing major challenges in new areas such as robotics, artificial intelligence and information technology, nanotechnology, production and use of hazardous chemicals, population aging and new ways of working. That’s why we encourage “out of these boxes” thinking of OSH professionals. Modern OSH, preventive action and vision Zero together with Enhanced Environmental protection are important actions, that will enable Global success and well-being and Health of the General Population.
